I asked for a harmonica for Christmas and... ta-da... I got one.  The trouble is that it's a fancy-pants, double-reed German-made contraption.  

Ideally, I'd like to learn a few good ol' fashioned tunes to play at festive [outdoor] gatherings to encourage all sorts of merry-making.  I most definitely need a basic harmonica.  Any suggestions?

Revolution

There has been yet another changing of the guard.   Our O'Keefe and Merritt has been pushed out by a Chambers, and I'm officially in love with the new addition to our household.

Before you even consider the broiler/griddle or the thermowell, the fact that we have three fully-functional burners is enough to make me giddy.  If it's possible to be turned on by an appliance... I am.

There are many changes that need to happen in our kitchen, but I am happy to say that the stove isn't one of them.  The Chambers fits right in and is here to stay.
