The Hound

My environment and life can finally support the addition of a canine pal.  

I think that because, as a child, I used to listen to the Fox and the Hound audiobook as I dozed off at nap-time, I have a crush on the idea of a good old-fashioned hound dog.  However, the fact that I live quite close to neighbors within the confines of a small town and on less than a fifth of an acre will prevent me from choosing a hound as my companion of choice.

J. says that we don't need a dog.  We might not need a dog, but I'm pretty sure that I do.

I mean, seriously, how cute is Ernest, this Boxer/Hound mix?
