For maybe the first time ever, I gathered all of the required ingredients (in their requisite states) prior to beginning a baking recipe. What I didn't do was read the recipe all the way through first, but there's always a next time. As it turns out, the
Browned Butter Buttermilk Banana Bread with Strawberry Butter is pretty straightforward and delicious.
At my own risk, I deviated from recommended loaf pan size.
Browning the butter enough but not too much turned out to be the trickiest bit.
Whisk.
Mix.
Stir.
Pour.
Umm... Strawberry butter is simple and amazing. Why isn't butter mixed in everything?
Truth: It was as good as it looked, and is a definite do-again.
P.S. Does anyone else think that the very, best part may be the leftover batter?
